Why Hyperliquid is different for traders

One chain, two environments

An EVM swap and a native order-book trade use different execution paths. A tool can support one without supporting the other.

Separate balances and costs

HyperEVM needs HYPE gas. Native trading has maker/taker fees; deposits, transfers and withdrawals may add separate costs.

Match the risk to the product

Token contract and pool risks matter for EVM spot. Margin, funding and liquidation also matter when trading perpetuals.

Your first steps in the ecosystem

1. Choose your market

Start by identifying HyperCore spot, HyperCore perpetuals or HyperEVM token swaps.

2. Check your wallet and funding route

Use official entry points and confirm the destination environment. Begin with a small test transfer.

3. Read the order before signing

Check the asset, amount, fee, minimum received and permission. A tutorial is not a recommendation to buy.

Questions before your first trade

Is Hyperliquid the same as HyperEVM?

Hyperliquid is the blockchain and ecosystem. HyperEVM is its smart-contract environment; HyperCore runs native markets.

Which bots can I compare here?

The compare tool covers six verified HyperEVM products. It does not treat native perpetuals features as EVM swap features.

Does Hyperliquid trading need gas?

HyperEVM transactions use HYPE gas. Native HyperCore trading uses trading fees instead of per-order EVM gas; funding and transfers have their own costs.

Does unknown mean unsupported?

No. Unknown is not unsupported. We display No only when a negative value is explicitly confirmed.

Are these paid rankings?

No. Listings and comparison outcomes do not depend on affiliate payments.
